A reed sensor with integral actuator magnet. Actuation occurs when a suitable vane passes through the slot between the magnet and reed switch. Choice of normally open, normally closed, high-voltage normally closed or changeover contacts. Capable of switching up to 265Vac/300Vdc at 10VA. Available with various cable length and connector options. Ideally suited for position and limit sensing, security, linear actuator, industrial process control and shaft rotation applications.

Features:

  • Sensor and magnet contained in a single housing
  • Operates when ferrous vane passes through slot
  • Quick and reliable single screw mounting with location feature
  • Options of normally open, normally closed, high-voltage normally closed or changeover contacts
  • Custom cable length and connector options available

Benefits:

  • Well suited for usage in high-moisture and contaminated environments
  • Reed contacts last for millions of operating cycles under micro-controller voltage and current logic-level loads

Applications:

  • Position and limit switching
  • Security
  • Shaft rotation sensing
  • Industrial process control
  • Linear actuators
