Our Optically Isolated High-Speed I²C Bus Repeaters are the industry's first integrated optical solution for I²C bus design that minimize PC board space usage and reduce parts count for this function. Unlike magnetically isolated digital isolator ICs, this optical solution:

  • Needs no internal clocking, which is a primary source of EMI/RFI interference
  • Supports direct static-state buffering without refresh clocks
  • Features excellent reliability and very long operational life.

The CPC5902 is a Dual Bidirectional device while the CPC5903 features one Bidirectional Channel and one Unidirectional Channel.
